Gate is just over 60 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, 5 minutes from
the Western freeway M8 north of Wallace.

Directions from Melbourne
From the M8,
take the Wallace Exit and head towards Springbank, stay on Ormond Road
Take the fifth right turn into Simpsons´s Road. Country gate is at the end
of Simpsons Road
Stewart's Hut has a different entrance. Continue up Ormond Road
exactly 1km from Simpsons Road and Stewart's Hut is on your right under 5
pine trees.
Directions from Daylesford
Take the
Daylesford Ballan road
When you come to Leonards Hill (approx 2kms past Sailors Falls), go
past Hall on right and go further .5 km and on a sweeping turn at the top of
rise on your right, is a road and signpost to BARKSTEAD .
Take this turn and take first turn to left approx .5 km and follow this road
thru to Barkstead. (Do not take the Yoga Ashram turn)Follow the bitumen
through Barkstead
When you come out of Barkstead take left turn (approx 1KM - yellow gravel
road) and follow this road until you come to bitumen road . You are now out
of forest. ( Barkstead Road)
Follow Barkstead Road which becomes Ormond Road and go down Ormond Road,
take first turn to left (approx 1.5 kms)- SIMPSONS ROAD. Country Gate is at
the end of Simpsons Road (1KM)
